We walked along the northern headland overlooking Easts Beach around to the Little Blowhole which was really working well.
We next visited the Pilots Cottage Museum at Kiama followed by some more shopping and re-fuel at Stocklands Shellharbour. We then drove behind the houses on the southern headland overlooking Easts around to the next bay - called Loves Bay. It was then starting to rain so we returned to the van - goodness it is amazing how many people have arrived for the weekend. We leave tomorrow.

Day 6 - Thursday
We drove through Nowra, Callala Beach, Huskisson and then to Green Patch Beach on Jervis Bay. It was a beautiful day, the sand was powdery white and the water was irresistible - we had an enjoyable swim.
Day 5 - Wednesday
Early morning swims were followed by a walk to the southern headland overlooking Easts Beach. The views were quite beautiful - on the return walk we climbed down to the rocks and explored caves and rockpools. It then started to rain so we went for a trip to Nowra for some retail therapy and also to view Coromal caravans at South Nowra.
Day 4 - Tuesday
We drove to the Port Kembla area for a most interesting tour of the Nan Tien Buddhist Temple. The grounds were quite beautiful complete with Lotus Flower pond. We were very fortunate to link up with Anne who described herself as a Christian Buddhist and she proceeded to walk us through Buddhism - it was very interesting and the whole experience was very calming. The monks were all slight of build (some suggested that this was due to their vegetarian diet) and very knowledgeable.
We had an enjoyable vegetarian lunch and were sufficiently inspired to buy some books to further research Buddhism - it seems to be a most attractive way of life.

Day 3 - Monday
We drove through Jamberoo Village on to the Illawarra Fly. Morning tea at the cafe was followed by a short walk to the incredible cantilever section of the Fly. We walked the full length of the Fly and even climbed to the top of the tower for a magnificent view over the Albion Park, Kiama, Lake Illawarra region. We saw an incredible display by a male lyrebird - he was mimicking many of the birds in his area - even the bell bird.
It was then back to the van for aswim and rest.
